Remote Sensing Using Satellites was developed under a grant from the National Science Foundation (NSF). It is intended for undergraduate students enrolled in survey-level atmospheric science/meteorology courses. In related courses, such as earth science and physical geography, the Website could serve as a valuable resource. The module was designed to be used in conjunction with lectures and textbooks or as a supplemental laboratory activity. Additionally, the satellite imagery, conceptual graphics, and animations found in this module can be reused in lectures, discussions, and evaluation instruments. |
