Operational Forecasters' Professional Development Series Training Program This is a white paper originally developed to guide the establishment of performance-based requirements for creating a blended approach to specifying and providing professional development materials for operational forecasters. The PDS approach has been refined and is currently being used to guide the development of training resources in fire weather, aviation and marine meteorology. (1997)
